Today's businesses are facing an urgent need to not only have website and internet marketing strategies in place, but to have them actually be effective.

Many of us are creatives or we work with creatives, so making a visually pleasing web site is easy enough. We know and work with technical people, so programming a site that works from a technical standpoint isn’t too difficult either. Some of us even know people who can more-or-less drive some traffic to our sites. So that’s not the challenge it once was either.

But when you add it all up, do the websites most companies build significantly increase business? Do sales, or prospects, or conversions, or partnership inquiries, or other measurable targeted objectives significantly increase? Typically not. The reason so many of these initiatives fail in fulfilling their business goals is a lack of understanding on how all of the component parts integrate to affect the outcome. But with intelligent processes in place, businesses can consistently achieve real business results on this elusive platform and continue to evolve and grow in the ever changing global business landscape.
